Below are stretches we recommend for the respective region of the body. Perform all the stretches within the section that your doctor has recommended for you and put a star next to the ones that you notice are really tight or seem difficult…those are the ones you want to make sure to do consistently and more often. If any stretch seems easy or not tight, then you can choose to skip that one to focus more on the ones that are needed more.
You should feel that “good stretch pain” and potentially some soreness during and after performing the stretches. For any particular stretch that you feel any sharp pain, do not continue that stretch, until conferring with your doctor. You may not be ready for that stretch yet.
