Dr. Jeremy D. Ferris

Dr. Jeremy has called Hamilton County “home” for more than 28 years. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1992 and went on to obtain his Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1996. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received his doctorate of Chiropractic in 2002. Dr. Jeremy co-founded Hoosier Chiropractor shortly after moving to Fishers in 2003. He enjoys being part of the Fishers community and is very active in many of the community events, such as the Fisher’s chamber, Rotary, and Fisher’s Freedom Festival.

Dr. Jeremy specializes in full-spine adjusting as well as nutrition and sports injury prevention. His interest and knowledge of sports injuries stems from his own 30 years of playing soccer. He has completed post doctorate certification from the Golf Injury Institute and assessments and performance through and Titlest Performance Institute.

He is currently completing a wellness certification program and is constantly continuing his education in nutrition and exercise so that he can offer his patients, family and friends the most accurate, up-to-date information.

In his free time, Dr. Jeremy enjoys playing soccer, kick-boxing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys quiet evenings by a fire with his wife, Amy.

Dr. Matthew C. Ferris

Born in Indianapolis, Dr. Matt is now the second member of his family to become a chiropractor. He grew up in Westfield and graduated with honors from Westfield High School in 1996. He then went on to Anderson University and obtained his Bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology. During that time, he served as a Resident Assistant, worked at a Senior Living Community, and maintained his own lawn-mowing service.

From there he headed to Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated with honors in a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2004. After graduation, he accepted a position as an Associate Doctor with one of the leading doctors in the field of upper cervical chiropractic in Chicago. He then left Chicago to bring this specialty back to his hometown and join his brother in founding Hoosier Chiropractor.

Dr. Matt has completed post doctorate certification in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He has also competed a Diplomat with the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals. With this training, he has assumed the position of clinical director for auto accident diagnosis and treatment for Health  Connections.

Dr. Matt specializes in upper cervical as well as full spine chiropractic. He has been passionate about chiropractic since he was a senior in high school, and it shows in the way he cares for his patients everyday.

He and his wife, Ashley, and their two children live in Fishers. They enjoy taking walks, reading, and playing disc golf together. They are also very active in their local church where they volunteer in the children’s ministries.

Amy Ferris, LCSW

Amy is a 1994 graduate of Indiana University and received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 1995.

Amy conducts her private counseling practice (Alternatives in Behavioral Care) from the Health Connections’ office. She specializes in treating children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, social problems, adjustment issues, and other behavioral problems. She helps adults with the above issues as well. Amy is also completing the wellness certification program with Dr. Jeremy and they look to combine their specialties in a total health regime in the near future.

In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and traveling. She is outdoors as much as possible and likes long walks with her husband and sitting by warm fires on their patio.
